Guest
Has anyone been appointed to this position. What is your timetable like? How much time do you spend in different areas and with outreach work? Please shed some light on this atea of teaching?
Guest
It varies immensely from Children's Centre to Children's Centre. If there is a nursery attached, then it is likely that some of your time will be spent there, leading the planning and learning of the 3 to 5s. Similarly, you will be involved in planning for any services that the centre runs, involving 3 to 5 year olds. You may also advise other early years settings within the catchment area, running cluster training, and individual support. Quite exciting and varied! Guest
Thanks Shelley, I would love some more info from other members if possible - particularly if you work in a school. How do your age groups mix? What percentage of your time do you spend in each age grouping? How are you linked to you advisory team? By the way a wonderful site with equally wonderful members !
