The Early Years Foundation Stage

My Head teacher handed me a piece of paper which was from an Area Heads meeting about the 'Early Years Foundation Stage' new framework. I have been on the standards site and download the info (which looks very interesting) . I just wondered if anyone new anything more about it.

Hi verityn - this document will become statutory by 2008 - training starts next year! If you haven't already got a copy of the draft document you must do this very quickly as you only have until 28th July to read it and comment on it. (it's 132 pages long!) If you meet anyone who works in Early Years outside your setting make sure you ask them if they have seen a copy! everyone needs to know about it.
