Hen Do

I'm not getting married until August 07, but people keep asking me what I want to do for my Hen Do.

I've been thinking about how men often go away for their Stag Dos, and money doesn't seem to be an issue, whereas I know that if I go away, lots of my friends won't be able to afford it.

Then someone suggested that we start saving a bit of money each week - which seems like a well good idea to me.

I'd like to go somewhere abroad for about 3 nights. Somewhere with a bit of everything - sun, sights, food, drink and shopping, so that there's something for everyone.

I've been to Barcelona a couple of times, so don't really want to go there, but somewhere similar would be great.

I'm not into a wild and wacky hen do, just somewhere nice to go with all of my friends, ranging from age 30 to 45.

Any location ideas?

Shelley

Well I've just had my hen do and I had a girly weekend at a hotel and spa about 30 minutes from my house. It was a fabulous weekend with everyone getting on really well, getting very chilled and relaxed and eating great food. Could something like that be a good idea? Mine cost us 160 quid for the weekend including all meals and treatments (3 each) as well as the hotel stay.

A group of freinds and I have a yearly (child and husband free!) pilgrammage to Center Parcs and we always have a great weekend. Something for everyone spa, pool and for the more adventurous outdoor pursuits. Works out really reasonable cost wise as well when you share a larger lodge.

Brighton's fab too tapa's bars, the pavillion, shopping in the lanes etc.

Miffy - what sort of price is Center Parcs?

The way I feel right now, I fancy a bit of chilling out, as well as going to the hotel Nichola suggested (and it's only Monday!).
