whats the document that helps knowing what evidence is needed for each point on the profile?

Do you mean the profile handbook?

you should be able to access it online at qca.org.uk

no i thought there was a seperate document that provided more help with identifying what to use as evidence.

Jop have you looked at the disc that comes with the profile handbook? Has some useful stuff. The only other document I can think of is Seeing steps in children's learning from QCA, which is also acompanied by a DVD.

Also, if you haven't got the Foundation stage toolkit there are some good DVDs in it. One is on assessing for the profile.
