basilbrush Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 As a fundraiser for our summer fair, we have white cap for each child to decorate somehow, the only idea we have come up with so far is tyedying them, and no-one is very inspired to do that!!!! Does anyone have any other creative but simple idea we could use to decorate them so that the children are involved in doing something? Looking forward to your suggestions! Thank you
Guest Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 Bring in an array of wonderful items such as feathers, ribbons, sequins, etc, and let each child be as creative as they like. That way each hat will be diiferent and will be more child-led. I don't know how you'll get the materials attached to the hat though!!!
Guest Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 What about using fabric pens? They will still be very individual if each child chooses their own theme. Linda
apple Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 snap Linda... thats jsut what I was thinking... quick easy and they can let their imaginatio\n run wild. Just make sure the parents are told to iron them afterwards in order to set the fabric dye, otherwise their hard work will be washed out. Have fun
Guest Really Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 What about threading small beads and then attaching them to the hats?
