Guest
I have found the Nvq3 Resources extremely useful, however there isn't a guide for P2.. Because of the nature of the role I do NOT have any contact with parents and so I am struggling, can anyone offer any advice Or if any moderator/Steve is planning to put guides up like the other units in the resources section for P2 Many many thanks! Guest
Hi Is P2 something to do with the parents, i can't remember now - its been 3 yrs since i did my nvq. I think i made up a book for the parents, outlining what they can do in the pre-school, what children are learning through the activities etc. We still use it, i just update it on a yearly basis, its then placed on our notice board so parents can read it. Sue R
Try here Hi ruffian - I think you'll find if you check again, that there is guidance for P2 - all the Mandatory units are covered, it's just the optionals that aren't. Sue (apologies for link appearing first!! Still getting it round my neck! )
Sue R
OK, so it doesn't work, either. HUH!! Steve you'll have to 'defrock' me or whatever you do to incompetent moderators!! If you just go to Resources, find NVQ stuff and scroll down, it's there (on my pc anyway!) Sue

Sue R
Just a thought, ruffian - if you have no contact with parents you really are going to struggle with this one, as so many of the pcs have to be observed by your Assessor! You'll have to let me know how your college get round this one! Good luck, Sue

Good luck, Sue 58262[/snapback] Because of confidentiality issues my assessor set up a role play situation and we took it in turns being the parent or the practitioner. She gave me a feedback sheet with the evidence gathering methods A and K. Hope this helps
