Guest Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 had my hen do! It's a little early with the wedding only being on the 11th August , but due to a pregnant bridesmaid it was now or never! We stayed at a hotel overnight, with an evening meal and then had breakfast and headed over to the beauty suite for a pampering day. I feel so totally relaxed now. It was great! Everyone got along, despite not knowing each other. Here are a few pics: http://www.photobox.co.uk/album/3143321 Quote
Helen Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 Ooooh it sounds great! Photos prove you all had a good time. Are the boys doing the same? Quote
Guest Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 Thanks for sharing, photos are lovely, good luck for the big day, are things going to plan? Quote
Guest Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 Well Joe hasn't even organised his stag do yet. Men are never that organised! He's planning on going paintballing and also a night on the town getting very drunk! I've just been for my hair cutting (advantages of having 2 weeks at half term!) and so my pamper weekend is all finished. Plans are all going well, nothing really left to sort except music and readings. Quote

Guest Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 Sounds like bliss! Hope you've not undone all the pampering now that you're back at work! Shelley Quote
Guest Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 Actually, I'm not back at work till next week, we get 2 weeks off in my LEA at this half term and finish a week later in summer so I'm all chilled still, although that does mean that I haven't started my work yet! Quote
Guest Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Looks and sounds as though you had a lovely time Nicola. Hope everything is going well. Linda Quote
Guest Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Nichola - have you got the details of the place you had your pamper weekend at? I have a friend who is feeling a bit down at the moment, and thought that it might do just the trick! Has anyone else got any others they would recommend? Quote
Sue R Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Shelley, I really hope Nich is enjoying her honeymoon right now - I'm sure she will respond with the info very soon... Sue Quote
Marion Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 (edited) If you do a search on the web many big hotels / spas offer pamper days and weekends. A quick look found these! http://www.lastminute.com/lmn/pso/catalog/...amp;CATID=99141 http://www.spaseekers.com/pamperdays/dorset/ Edited August 17, 2006 by Marion Quote
