Guest Posted May 29, 2006 Share Posted May 29, 2006 Can anyone recommend a decent hotel in Bath? It's for my boyfriend's birthday. I don't want a Travel Inn or similar, as we seem to have had a spout of staying in them. On the other hand, I can't go too pricey - even though I'd love to! Any ideas would be much appreciated. Guest Posted May 29, 2006 Share Posted May 29, 2006 Haven't had holiday for years, but remember staying in the Fernley hotel, which was really nice. Right in the centre, near Roman Baths. (most probably pulled down now!). Was the first time we went away together, so happy memories. I'm sure someone will be able to help. Susan Posted May 29, 2006 Share Posted May 29, 2006 The Holiday Inn Express is nice, bit more like a hotel than the travel lodges and reasonably close to City centre to allow you to walk in but no restaurant as such although thye do have a decent breakfast included. I have used it several times and have never been disappointed. The reviews given are all unbiased and give a true picture of what to expect.
