Guest Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Does anyone have a good 'Risk assessment' form for outings they wouldn't mind sharing? I manage a pre-school and have made up my own but want to make sure I am not leaving anything out! Thankyou!! Quote
Andreamay Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 i run a pre-school but i dont have a form.I just write in essay form explaining the journey from beg to end and what we do to minimise risk! i update it each visit and note any differentation. I add ratio, what we take with us,when a register is taken.etc the route we take which I have done beforehand.that i have checked drivers docs etc when we went on a greenacres farm trip the other year I also used their own risk assessment they sent me. Guest Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 (edited) I don't know if it is any good, but here is an example one I did for our trip last December. If you have thought of things I don't have then let me know too! I also manage a preschool. Carolyn Risk_assessment.doc Edited May 25, 2006 by Carolyn C Quote
Deb Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Here's ours, our main control is that we always have a ratio of 1 adult to 2 children at least or we don't go. This is for a village walk, a visit to a farm etc would need additional controls. Think I probably got the format from this site at some point.
