Problem Solving In Maths With Reception

Hi all,

can anyone recommend a useful resource or supply good ideas for problem solving in maths with a reception class? My aim is to improve/ challenge children's thinking and problem solving skills and generally add some new activities to the usual areas of maths covered.

do you know Abacus? We,ve only just started using it but I think it might do what you want!

You can access it from hamiltontrust.org.uk as it forms the basis of the maths planning there but is easier to use as a bought resource(I think!).
