basilbrush Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 just planning ahead for the foundation stage summer fair, the main seller at this fair is usually a product that the children have been involved in making, previous years we have done t shirts and bags, just wondering if anyone has any inspirational ideas, or ideas that have worked well in the past. Looking forward to your suggestions cheers bb

Guest Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 We have made decorated pencil pots from different sizes of cardboard rolls stuck together on a square base before. Also a good seller one year was when we bought some plain ceramic tiles and allowed the children to paint on them with glass paint. Another one was coil pots, these are made by making lots of clay sausage shapes and curling them round like a snail for the base and then you build up the sides using the other sausage shapes to the height you want for each pot, smoothing the inside of the pot. When dried out you could decorate/glaze them with PVA and water mixed together. The parents and children loved the final results
