Guest Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 Hello everyone! Just wondered if anyone could enlighten me. We are going to have a partitioning wall taken down over the summer to make one big reception classroom - which will be great! But I wondered how we can get new furniture and storage too - for September for our new intake. Can these things come out of part of the budget for 'buildings' or something, so I can ask the head whether it is possible or not? Just wondered. Thanks Viki (Here's to a new classroom....!!)
Guest Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 When we have asked our head for storage etc before i think he may have referred to a building budget!! Not sure tho?! Lola
Guest Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 I wouldn't worry where the money comes from, most head teachers are very creative with the budget and move money around, just make a good case based on need rather than want.
Marion Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 I dont think cupboards can come out of the building budget unless maybe they are fixtures at least thats what our head told us.
