ABOUT US

We are an 'Outstanding' term-time setting, offering 30 hours each week for children age 2 to 5 years. We operate from 2 permanent modular buildings on a village Primary School site, South of Guildford on the Surrey/East Sussex border.

YOUR ROLE

The duties and responsibilities listed below are not exhaustive or restrictive. 

• Provide professional leadership and management of the nursery 
• Effectively manage the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Promote the aims and objectives of the nursery.
• Promote the high standards of the nursery at all times to parents, staff and visitors
• Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the Statutory Framework
• Support staff in delivering the EYFS
• Ensure that children are kept safe and that staff understand and follow Safeguarding Procedures.
• Promote and facilitate partnerships with parents/ carers and other family members.
• Support the development of good practice with regards to Special Needs and Inclusion. 
• Create and maintain a culture of self evaluation and reflective practise throughout the nursery.
• Further develop a well-qualified and experienced team able to meet and exceed all relevant standards
• Be responsible for all Policy & Procedure reviews and updates
• Manage the day- to- day operation in order to ensure the Health & Safety of the children, their parents and carers, the team and any visitors to the nursery
