HuglessDouglas
Hi everyone. I was thinking today in preparation for my parent meetings, that every year there are some observation files that are a bit fuller than others. There are some children who I maybe haven't gotten to spend as much time with as I would like because there are others in the group who demand more time. And when I am writing my evaluations of my weekly planning, I am trying to make sure I am getting involved in the play so I can do this, while also writing up observations. I try to make sure I make time for everyone but at the minute it's done in a bit of an ad hoc type way. I don't think I have a good system for observations and assessments and evaluations of play. So, I suppose I was wondering, how do you manage to balance the observations, your evaluations of play, making sure you are playing with the children as well as writing observations? And also spreading yourself evenly with the children? There are 2 of us with 26 3-4 year olds. We spend about an hour inside the classroom at free play, and then about 45 mins out of the classroom at free play. Thank you in advance 😊
