Guest Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Hi I'm a teacher in an Early Years Centre (one teacher in each of four centres) with teachers' pay and conditions. I get two management points (for management/curriculum leader and SENCo responsibilities) However terms and conditions will change in September as becoming designated Children's Centre- not sure if teachers will stay on teachers' conditions or change to Soulbury scale. It is great to get school holidays but is so hard being away for six weeks in summer when life goes on as normal in centre and actually alot of development issues/action planning happens!
