Blodwin Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 Hi all, First time posting - been lurking a while! Working at a small nursery in Bristol area. We are slowly expanding and looking for staff, we may need to use an agency to allow us time to employ the right people. Would anyone be willing to share their experience of using agencies, how much do you pay, recommendations for any who are good (or indeed any to avoid!) Do you use more than one? Any pitfalls we need to look out for? Apart from building up our own bank staff does anyone have any other method they use to solve their staffing issues. Many thanks in advance. Quote
FSFRebecca Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 Hello Blodwin, a very warm welcome to the forum!! Lurk no more!! I've never used agencies as the costs are so high and I can't justify them. We rely on building up bank staff and having more regular staff on fewer hours so that there are people who already know the children and the routines to ask if we are stuck from time to time. 1 Quote
