 Brambles Community Pre-school have an exciting opportunity for 2 Practitioners to join our setting. We are Ofsted Outstanding, based in the Thornhill area of Southampton and are a friendly preschool with a passion for Childcare.

We are looking to recruit two full time, level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioners working with children aged 2-5 years.

Level 2 will be considered if you are experienced and preferably working towards a Level 3 qualification.

Also, ideally, a minimum of GCSE grade C or equivalent in both English and Maths and preferably a full and relevant Paediatric and Adult First Aid qualification

You will need to be able to promote good practice, be involved in daily/ weekly planning, follow policies and procedures of the pre-school, work as a team,

Hours required are 35.00 hours per week, 8.30 am until 3.30 pm Monday to Friday, term time only, with a few extra days during the school holidays.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

Level 2 or above qualification in Childcare

To have excellent communication skills.

To be able to keep accurate records .

Have an excellent understanding of safeguarding children

Have a thorough knowledge of the EYFS

To be able to work on own initiative.
