Your school/setting may be a member of CLEAPPS

who will give you advice on keeping animals, hatching eggs and general health and safety

you can also email them and they will answer

Last year I contacted our environmental advisor who urged us to continue observing the life cycle of frogs in the nursery! Only stipulation that the frogs are returned to the same pond that the frogspawn came from when the time comes, and that the usual health and safety/ hygiene precautions were taken.

It's also a god idea not to keep them indoors too long as the warmer temps can "force" their growth.
