How To Get Children To Want To Work With You

I agree with MARION (again), listen to your intuition, follow your gut feelings, they are reminding you of what you know.

All the studies and research are very important and useful for professional development in the context of enabling us to see things differently sometimes and reflect on our own practice, but I personally remind myself that research results can be subjective to a small degree and are influenced by the people who pay for the research and the confines of the research aims.

Too much information and too many publications giving guidance on "good practice" can have the opposite effect by making us feel unknowledgable and inadequate. HAVE FAITH AND CONFIDENCE IN YOUR OWN PROFESSIONAL JUDGEMENT, developed through working in the real world.

like children, we should build on what we know already, within what is our "real life" contexts.
