EmilyTapestrySupport Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 If you cannot see a parent’s name in the list of your relatives and when trying to set them up with an account, you get the message ‘This email address is already in use’, this means the parent will have an account on your Tapestry that is inactive. To find this account and reactivate them you just need to follow these steps: Go to the Control Panel, by clicking on your name in the top right hand corner (1), and select ‘Manage Relatives’ from the left-hand side menu (2). Then click on the Filter & Sort Relatives’ button at the top of the page (3). From the pop up menu select ‘inactive’ from the drop-down list in the ‘status’ section (1) and press submit (2). This will give you a list of all inactive relatives on your account. To make a parent active again you just need to find their name in the list, click on the cog button at the end of the row (1) and select ‘make active’ from the drop-down list (2). You'll then just need to confirm this action from a pop-up menu. Once the user has been made inactive they will disappear from this page and you will see a message at the top of the page to confirm this action has been completed (1). To then see all active relatives again you just need to click on the ‘reset filters to default’ link at the top of the page (2). Now back on the list with all active relatives you can reset their password by clicking on the cog button at the end of the row (1) and selecting 'reset password' (2).
