They need to make sure they have updated their app (check in their app store to make see if there are any updates) and if they are logging into the browser version to view their child's journal, they need www.tapestryjournal.com Quote

There used to be a bit that you selected to say you wanted an email notification sent to them and then you'd confirm that. I can't see that on there now, it's only offering me a password option. I've selected notifications to parents in the settings section. Quote
