Deputy Pre-School Leader position - Basingstoke

We are a ‘Good’ Pre-school (OFSTED 2013) for children 2 years to rising 5 years. We moved into a new building in April 2015 with stimulating resources and environment and are open term time only.

 

 

Have you:

· The drive and ambition to help the Leader move the Pre-school to Outstanding.

· A desire to encourage parents and staff to support children to build and develop their outcomes, so all children are school ready and able to take on their next challenge.

· The motivation to manage the Pre-school in the absence of the Leader, dealing with enquires, undertaking paperwork and making decisions.

· The skills to be able to plan and organise and implement a programme of activities to meet the needs of all the children.

 

In order for you to apply you must:

· Hold a minimum of a NVQ level 3 in Children's care learning and development or equivalent qualification.

· Desire to go on to do a Level 4 or Foundation Degree.

· Be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

· Have Experience of an Early Years setting.

· Salary range £8.00-£8.20 per hour
