Guest
Um am I missing a message here? Interestign question though as we are in a rented building and have been told we can't hang things from the ceiling because of hte alarm system so I'd be interested to hear if others have had problems... Lorna
Same here. I work in a school with motion sensors, so am not allowed to hang things across or around my room. Really frustrating. L
Guest
Sorry! My computer decided to do strange things as I tried to 'post new topic'. I didn't think it had posted, so was surprised to see your response, but I see it isn't on most recent topics either. Basically you've got the idea: have been told the alarm covers 'most' of the nursery & therefore I 'probably' can't hang anything from the ceiling, which I'm finding really frustrating as I've seen this space used to great effect. I was just wondering what anyone else does if in a similar situation.
Guest
We have 'big' signs for the different areas of the classroom hanging from wire rather than string. We have set the alarm off three times this year but this has happened when the heater has been left on - it blows warm air out. Fortunately our head is mad keen on things hanging from the ceiling so we don't get told off. We try to ensure the heater isn't on before we go home - the caretaker switches it on when he comes in in the morning - not ideal, but the classroom looks better than without them.
