Guest Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 hi, i was wondering if any one had any info they could give me about becoming a foundation stage manager ie job decription, how many years experince you need etc. thanks Quote
Guest Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 heya.. for an example.. i graduate this summer and have a degree in childhood studies.. my biggest hurdle has been that i hav a good qualification but the experience side is minimal due to my age!however after a few knock backs from interviews i was offered 2 seperate jobs 2 run nurseries.. its kinda boosted my confidence in the experience feild. however, i am fully aware that there are practitioners out there who have a fantastic wealthof experience and not such a high qualification and this is great too.. id say the job involves, curriculum planning, staff management and so forth.. it also depends what the setting is like that you work in.. school based/ private nursery etc etc hope i havent waffled too far off the plot. just thougt it may hav been appropriate for me 2 contribute!? x Quote
