An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experience Nursery Manager to join the Happy Days team at our St Austell Nursery. The key day to day tasks of the Nursery Manager include: • Day to day running of the nursery to achieve and maintain high standards of care and education • Mentoring, guiding and developing your own team • Providing professional advice and support on childcare development • Developing and maintaining great relationships with parents, children and childcare professionals • Managing budgets and meeting targets. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working in childcare, has previous experience in a private day care setting and knowledge of current childcare legislation. You must have been qualified for at least 2 years with a minimum NVQ level 3 qualification in childcare, or equivalent. The ability to achieve an outstanding OFSTED inspection as well as possessing excellent management and leadership skills is essential.
