green hippo Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Hi, I'm just planning an observed lesson for next week where I am focusing on describing the setting of the story. I am using Night Monkey, Day Monkey. Just wondering: when talking about story setting would you also describe the time of the day as part of the setting? Or would you stick to where the story happens? (I'm thinking this is a way of extending my higher ability - for further descriptions) (This is an activity for children aged 3 to 4) Thanks, Green Hippo x
Susan Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 The time can be important to a story, so yes I think its part of the setting especially for extension. 1
