Guest
Hi everyone, after some inspiration I have an observation for a new job on thurs I am currently doing goldilocks and the three bears I had planned to work on patterns and create a new patterned bowl for goldilocks in my adult focus. However I am struggling to think of a 'wow' input to the session. Any ideas would be gratefully received! X
Moorside
Don't know about a wow but a hook perhaps, letter from Goldilocks asking for their help to make a new bowl for Baby Bear to say sorry for eating his porridge.
bgfrancis
What were you planning on using for them to make the bowls? Could you perhaps provide a variety of resources e.g. play dough, clay, paper bowls with sequins or gems for creating the patterns etc? The sensory approach should promote interest and sustained involvement in the activity. You could perhaps have a bowl template available in case there are children that don't like to get their hands messy (just in case!)
