Guest Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Does anyone have any good ideas of how to make treasure maps with reception children? Has anyone used coordinates with reception aged children? Thank you in advance.
Guest sn0wdr0p Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 We make our maps by soaking paper in coffee (not too wet and coffee works better than tea) making sure you tear all round the edges first. We make ours the day before then get the children to hide a treasure coin and make a map of our outside area for a friend. Sorry we don't use co-ordinates just X marks the spot. We have this planned for the first week of the school holidays when all the children come dressed as pirates or princesses.
