Guest Posted February 16, 2013 Share Posted February 16, 2013 We are seeking a Pre-School Deputy Manager in Early Years Education and childcare for 3 -4 days a week. Term time only, 39 weeks a year. Hours 8.15a.m- 3.30p.m The candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the revised Early Years Foundation Stage, including the welfare requirements, learning and development and safeguarding. A previous experience of leading or managing in an early years setting, together with excellent organisational, communication and administration skills. The role includes key person to a group of children and lead language co-ordinator. PERSON SPECIFICATION: The successful applicant will ideally hold EYPS or QTS and have one year’s post qualifying experience. You will join an established team of committed and enthusiastic practitioners with QTS, EYPS and level 3 qualifications. The nursery manager is looking for applications from practitioners with experience of working in Early Years settings who are committed to a reflective and responsive pedagogy. A change agent who will bring fresh ideas to an outstanding Ofsted rated setting.
