westie Posted February 5, 2013 Share Posted February 5, 2013 Avenue Out of School Club is looking for an energetic, experienced and forward thinking Deputy Manager. This is a newly created post to support the Manager in a busy and popular breakfast, after school and holiday club based at Avenue Junior school. The successful candidate will support the manager in the day to day running of the club and manage the club in the absence of the manager. The working hours for this post will be 23.5 hours within the clubs opening hours, as well as additional regular admin hours to be negotiated as the job evolves. £9.00-£9.50 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Candidates will need to have a minimum level 3 qualification and either possess or be willing to complete a level 4 qualification within 2 years of appointment. Candidates will also need 2 years post qualifying experience. We require candidates to have safeguarding training; first aid and food hygiene would also be desirable. It is of paramount importance that candidates are child centred and have a working knowledge of good childcare practice as well as having good leadership skills.
