melc Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Happy New Year Everyone. This week we are learning all about New Year and I've had a great idea that we can do the big ben chimes. Easy you may think, but like all good ideas they lead to another - and this one is giving me a headache so I hope someone can help. I remember a colleague once using a song/rhyme about a palace clock and at the end a child had to 'strike' the clock the correct number of times. Good for counting objects you cannot move. But here is my problem - I can't remember the rhyme. Can anyone out there help please? Thanking you all in advance. Mel
Sue R Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Hi Mel, Can't help with that particular rhyme, I'm afraid, but I've often adapted Hickory Dickory to use different times for handclaps etc. Any use?
melc Posted January 7, 2013 Author Posted January 7, 2013 Hi Sue, Thank you for your reply. How did you adapt Hickory Dickory Dock (I know this is probably quite obvious but my brain is overloaded with data and such like at the moment). Thank you for your help. Mel C
