Schemes of work

I have recently been asked for eyfs schemes of work. The problem is ... I don't have any!!! As a key stage we use the eyfs curriculum as the planning document, choosing statements that are relevant to each cohort or individual and working from there. We have a broad topic for the half term but that's it really

So you lovely people out there can I ask you, schemes or no schemes? What do you do?

So tell whoever asked you that your scheme of work is... just as you have said!

 

Whoever asked you has no understanding of Early Years so if you tell them the EYFS and Development Matters is your scheme they should be happy with that don't beat yourself up trying to jump through a KS1/2 hoop keep up your good work!

Hmm Interesting this because I have just been asked for the same. You start to doubt yourself.
