I have just purchased the basket full of very lovely resources and wanted to let you know about it. It's run by teenagers, under a Youth Enterprise scheme. They have been extremely polite and helpful when I contacted them and the basket arrived very quickly. The children quickly started using all the lovely materials int he pack. I know that the items could be found and assembled yourself, but I wanted to support this group ( I saw an article in Nursery World about it, and decided to have a look!). Anyway, I'm pleased: the basket is a Community Playthings one and the drawstring bag that comes inside it is beautifully made and robust and all the items are very tactile. You have to send a cheque with an order, but they post out on receipt of that. The price was £40, but that included the packing and postage. Worth having a look on their site at least and they tell me that they are adding another basket full of resources to their site in the next few days.
