Guest Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Hi, I've got an interview for a Childcare (NVQ3) Lecturer post. As part of the interview I need to plan an hour’s lesson and deliver a 15 minute micro teach on the topic of "Promoting risk and challenge in children’s play”. Any ideas, hints or tips would be very welcome. Many thanks
Guest Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I doubt there is anything I can tell you that you haven't thought about already but I did some lecturing for Level 3 NVQ (evening course) and I found the group had mixed ability and very mixed backgrounds. ie for some it was very repetitive because they had done level 2 but for some it was their first jaunt into education in a while. So I suppose I am suggesting you show some differentiation!! Good luck
Guest Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Thanks Scarlettangel, I'm planning to include differentiation but have been trying to come up with a short activity they can do within the 15 mins mini teach. Looking for something fun and engaging. Many thanks
