Guest Posted January 4, 2012 Share Posted January 4, 2012 Does anyone have any good ideas for an exciting art lesson with a reception class using Handa's Surprise and Food as the main stimulus. Guest Posted January 5, 2012 Share Posted January 5, 2012 hello there when we did this we made a fruit salad using the fruit if is is in season then Handa wrote our children a letter and we changed the story and made a large book using fruit and animals from uk and created a fruit salad. made masks and puppets to role play the story, made a collage of the fruit and animals from the story, looked at pattens on the animals and thought about camouflage and tried to camouflage an animal with in a picture if i think of the other things i will post them later! i hope this helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
