Guest Posted September 10, 2011 Share Posted September 10, 2011 Hi, I am wondering if anyone could help me. I am a nursery teacher working in a 39 place school nursery. I normally have a morning session and an afternoon session of 39 children in each. However this year it has changed I now have some children who are doing 2 and 1/2 days. This is new for me and unsure how I can plan, track and assess for the morning/afternoon sessions plus for the children who are staying all day? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Guest Posted September 14, 2011 Share Posted September 14, 2011 I am a Nursery teacher in a 26 place maintained nursery attached to a primary school and we have been offering flexible provision since Sept 2009. Some children do mornings, some afternoons and some two and a half days. I plan a different adult led small/large group activity each session (morning/afternoon) so that children in all day have a different activity to access if they want BUT what I plan for Monday morning for instance I might do again on another afternoon in the week depending on what it is and the interests of the children.
