Guest Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 I work in a Children's centre and have been asked to do planning for stay and play sessions. I have worked for years in Early years and have always planned from the interests and needs of the children. Can I ask whether you mostly plan from the children or whether you have a half term topic decided by an adult and plan to that? Guest Posted March 9, 2011 Share Posted March 9, 2011 I plan for a similar session - at first I did plan using set themes as the group was new and I didn't know the children. As the group has continued there are some regular attendees so I try and take their interest into account when planning as well as still using some topics (spring time etc).
