Guest Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Hi there, Just busy doing my assignment and I'm trying to find out when the 'Common core of skills and knowledge for the children and young people's workforce' was developed/introduced. Looked on the CWDC website but cant find it anywhere. Does anyone know? Thanks Scottiedog Quote
Guest Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 (edited) I am not 100% on this so you will need to check. I think the Common Core was introduced as a result of the Laming report into the death of Victoria Climbe and is part of the Every Child Matters Agenda. There is more information within the Children's Plan http://www.dcsf.gov.uk/childrensplan/ Edited May 12, 2010 by cupcake Quote
