titchy
I'd love to hear from anyone whose setting has toilets sepearte from the setting itself e.g. in a community centre. Do you offer an extra member of staff for toilet runs? Sorry people as you can probably see im looking in to making sum changes? If only they would pay us enough to cover running costs? Guest
Hi we operate from a church hall and toilets are at the other end of the building - we employ an additional staff member every session to enable children to access the toilets. We rota the 'toilet' duty so that all staff have a turn. Costs us financially but we couldn't operate without.
Guest
We are the same. Based in secondary school so toilets down a corridor. Also take children from 2 yrs so that staff member has to do numerous nappies as well as toilet run (mornings there are 40 kids!). This sometimes means 2 staff at toilet! Committee only pay for extra one member of staff which is on a rota basis. Believe me you spend all day at the toilet and can do nothing else!! That staff member only allowed to take 2 children to toilet at time.
