Guest
Hi The important thing to remember with students who are entitled to support with payment for their childcare, is that the second form that needs completing by the childcare provider - CCG2, only gets completed and signed by the childcare provider after fees have been received. Some students do try to get this form signed off before they have paid, but the form clearly states that if you sign it you are agreeing that the provision has already received payment. narnia
YES, I had exactly this problem last year.......................little minx went and spent the money on buying a Husky dog!! I dealt with it by telephoning the LEA and they told her in no uncertain terms that all grants would be witheld until she proved that she had paid me.She came in grovelling, making all sorts of promises ' if you sign my form to say I've paid, I'll sort it out/get granny to pay/ get her dad to pay/ pay you from the rest of my grant etc'.....................needless to say, i told her no way, and she had to sort it out, which, thankfully, she did. I was very grateful for a sensible lady in the LEA though, she really pulled out all the stops to help us
