Guest
My class last year quite liked making treasure maps - huge rolls of paper and just spread them out over the floor.
bgfrancis
How about writing frames in typical pirate shapes e.g. parrots, ships, treasure chests with some word cards for independent mark making. Maybe a treasure chest full of coins, jewels etc for exploration. Pirate related books for children to access and discuss. Individual whiteboards with p words to practice writing e.g. pirate, parrot, pot. Hope some of these ideas help.
