Guest Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Does anyone know where I can buy a walking rope. It is a long rope with soft plastic rings attached for the children to hold on to when out walking in a group. I saw them at a teching exhibition in manchester last year, but forgot to get the name of the company that sold them! I've found a couple on american websites, but none in the uk! Help!
bubblejack Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 I noticed this in the S.B.S. catalogue the other day (08451 252550) We have a hand made one that is years old and cost very little. We used rope and tied loops a foot apart.
Beau Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 We have a rope with knots tied into it which the children are meant to hold. The rope is very long though - made when the playgroup regularly had 18-24 children. We don't use it as it's more of a liability with 6 or 7 children!
Guest Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 M&S Mercantile catalogue have one on their cover. It's at work so I can't quote prices etc. Will do it tomorrow.
Guest Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 Thanks for info! Haven't done anything about it yet - no money going spare! Thanx again
