Thanks Peggy. I did know that but these books we have hang in the office as I am running out of space to put ring binders now!! I suppose I should be grateful that we have an office!

Suggestion (Put a line up with number 1 to 10 on A4 white paper. Make sure each one is pegged up in order so that the children can take the right number as in the song. Great for older children and learning to recognise numbers in written form)

Tom Thumbs musical Maths by Helen MacGregor is another great book. The simple songs using familiar tunes help develop maths skills. One my kids really love is Mystery Bag to the tune of This Old Man -

 

You need 2D and 3D shapes in feely bags.
