My Friend Is An Alien

The reception teacher asked me if I knew the words to the following song for friendship week, I didn't but I thought if anybody would you guys would!

 

It goes something like...

 

My friend is an alien.......he is orange and his hair is green.....

 

 

And the chorus...

 

So what, so what, so what who cares how many eyes he's got?

His teeth are yellow and arranged in rows

He comes from a planet where the blue grass grows

His feet are furry and his eyes are red,

I can’t say his name and so I call him Fred,

It is in a book we have at school - with a spaceman on the front I think if that helps.

whew! What a great soundsing book but with an age range of 7+ I'm going to resist the temptation to add it to my collection.

 

Like the poem though, we've just spun off from a "Marvellous Me" topic to aliens so could be very appropriate!

The song was on a old Fun Song Factory video my children used to have so it might be on dvd. I think it was on topic of friends but not sure.
