Making Maths Make Sense (mmms)

I was googling Maths schemes of work and I stumbled across this scheme of work from OUP. It is called Making Maths Make Sense and seems to be very visual and interactive. There are lots of clips on Teachers TV of it being used. Does anyone use it in their school and if so, what do you think?

My friend finds it very prescriptive.

Hi, we use it too. Or at least did do. It worked well. But as newer initiatives arrive we have taken those on board. Still use the cups. and mats for Reception children though.

Thanks for your replies. I was interested because I liked the idea of a hands on Maths approach. I'm looking for a scheme of work which doesn't involve filling in a worksheet or completing a pupil book. I'll keep looking.
