Guest Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Hi, I have made a visual timetable and on courses I keep seeing a flipchart folder for the timetable to be displayed, but I can't find one anywhere.....does anyone know where to get one?? Thanks!
Guest Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 We bought an A5 folder and clear plastic wallets to put in it which worker ok, also had some laminated A5 card in there with velcro strips along the middle for putting specific 'work' sequences on that could be removed as they were completed. The A5 folder worked ok and wasn't too big to carry around to differnt places/use 1:1 on the carpet etc. Good luck
Guest Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 have you tried the pecs web site they sell things like that. You could make one to your own specification as well. By the way welcome to the forum hope you get as addicted as eveyone else killowengirl
Marion Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 The PECs files are expensive (I've just bought one) but a photograph album works quite well. My visual instructions are just laminated and joined with treasury tags so I can flip them
Guest Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 you can also make one from a ring binder and add your own schedule killowengirl
anita.kennedy Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 I made one that fastens on the door with a pocket and velcro tab and just add picture to the velcro from the pocket. Children like to change it when they know it is time for something else. I also make individual ones with photo's of the child in each area for any children who have a specific need.
