Guest
I run a pre school and thought that I would do the tutoring course through city & guilds, so that I could run the Getting Started in Pre school classes. I have to do a 20 minute teaching session aimed at level 3 practitioners. I was going to do Schemas but as someone else is I can't (serves me right for missing a lesson I suppose - but that tooth did need to come out!) I now need ideas for a topic that includes viusl learning, sorting games and writing on a flip chart HELP!
Sue R
Hi! Does it need to be Early Years based??? When I did this course, only a few years ago, each of us was allowed to do a session on anything we found of interest, provided it was was 'interesting and capable of being a lesson subject'. As my husband and I have long been enthusistic walkers (and I don't mean a stroll in the park!!), I did my session on this. By the end of my 20 minutes there were some excited ladies who could now take an accurate compass bearing and equip themselves safely for a walk in potentially dangerous areas! Just a thought, check with your Tutor? Sue
