Risk Assessments For Outdoor Areas

This is something that it has been advised that is needed as part of the EYFS and I was therefore wondering if anyone has a format for risk assessments that they have been using and has worked well during the last year.

 

I am currently writing our outdoor policy and am looking to incorporate the risk assessment as an appendix. If anyone has any good links to any outdoor policies it would be much appreciated

It looks really useful. If the risk assessment is done each day do you have a sheet for the adult to sign who has checked the area before the children use it ?

We have a daily sheet to record date, time and staff member who has checked outside before session starts.
