Guest Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Just found this info in the Nursery Management Today publication. The NCB (National Children's Bureau) has compiled three resource guides as part of the support materials for the B23 framework training programme, The subjects are; * Working with young children from minority ethnic groups. * Working with young children who have special needs or disabilities * Working with parents of children under three Single copies are available free from the DFES order line 0845 6022260, quoting the references; BIRTH-MEG BIRTH-SEN BIRTH-PAR for bulk orders email dfes@prolog.uk.com The guides are also downloadable from www.surestart.gov.uk/ensuringquality/birthtothreematters/trainingonbto3/resourceguides/ not looked at them myself yet but thought they might be of some use as we are still awaiting training in our area. Sue R Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Thanks for that, Peggy. Our pre-school room has quite a lot of under 3s at the moment, due to a bottle neck in the Toddler room, so I'm grateful for help. Haven't much experience of using BTTM/B23 as yet, although I've read it and looked at all the associated material. Can't beat working with it to really get to grips though!! Sue
