End Of Autumn Term Report

Today the headteacher has asked me to complete an end of Autumn term mini-report for each child. She wants these to go out before we break up for Christmas.

Does anyone else do this sort of thing?

Am really unsure how to do it and what to include - help!

I know that we are heading for the big 'O' but this added pressure at this time of year is really not helpful!

Have you had a Parents evening this term?

I would tackle it as a settling in report and concentrate on personal and social skills with a brief mention of 3Rs.

Yes have had a parents eve where I already talked about settling in, making friends etc. Think Im going to have a breakdown by Christmas!

We are a pre-school so probably slightly different but we have just done settling in reports and what the children are enjoying etc. More of a personal and social type report realy, making friends, sharing and so on.

Ok, so could you do a short report outlining a few key skills that each child has mastered this term and a few targets, ie pencil grip etc!? Just formalise the sort of things you know and will be working at moving on next term.
